7. Bot Detection and Form Security

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our forms (contact and inquiry forms, home valuation requests, tour scheduling and account registration) from automated abuse. Turnstile runs invisibly in the background with no puzzle or checkbox to solve. To determine whether a visitor is human, it collects and processes limited technical information about the visitor's browser and device. Cloudflare processes that information on our behalf and does not use it for tracking or advertising. Cloudflare's handling of that information is governed by the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

8. Google User Data

Pederson Realty agents and staff may choose to connect their Google account to our internal agent platform. This section explains how we access, use, store, and share Google user data. It applies only to agents and staff who connect a Google account; website visitors and clients are never asked to connect Google.

Data we access

• Gmail (send only, scope gmail.send): Permission to send email from the connected Gmail account on the agent's behalf, such as messages to clients and transaction parties that the agent composes or approves in our platform. We do not read, search, or download the contents of the agent's inbox.
• Google Calendar (read only, scope calendar.readonly): Permission to view calendar events so the agent can see their schedule alongside transaction deadlines and appointments in our platform. We do not create, edit, or delete calendar events.
• Basic profile: The agent's name and Google account email address, used to identify which account is connected.

How we use it

• Google user data is used only to provide and improve the user-facing features described above, at the agent's direction.
• We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it.
• We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
• No person at Pederson Realty reads Google user data except with the agent's explicit consent, when necessary for security purposes or to comply with applicable law, or when the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

Storage and sharing We store the OAuth access credentials needed to keep the connection active, encrypted in transit and protected by access controls. Calendar event details are retrieved when displayed and are not permanently stored. Copies of emails sent through the platform may be kept in the contact's activity record as part of our CRM. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide these features, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to users.

Disconnecting and deletion Agents can disconnect Gmail or Google Calendar at any time from their profile settings in our platform, which deletes the stored credentials immediately. Access can also be revoked from the Google Account permissions page. To request deletion of any other data related to a connected Google account, contact us using the information in the Contact section below.

Limited Use Pederson Realty's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

9. Data Security and Retention

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy or to comply with our legal obligations.
